Identical or Fraternal?

    Hi,

    I am a new Momma of twin girls, Emily and Kaitlyn. My girls look alot alike to me. I have sent away for a DNA test, but was wondering what you all thought about them being identical or fraternal. Here are some pics. :)

    I am SOOO bad with the ID/frat game but I have to say they look a lot alike and are super cute!!! I can't wait to hear the results!!!

    WE HAVE SENT AWAY FOR THE DNA TEST. STILL WAITING ON RESULTS. JUST WONDERING IF YOUR HAD SEPERATE PLACENTAS. WE THOUGHT WE ONLY HAD ONE AND THEN AFTER THEY WERE BORN THEIR WAS 2 I THINK, BUT OUR GIRLS LOOK ALOT ALIKE?

    When I was preggo we never even questioned whether or not they were identical. Twins run in my family, there were two seperate placentas, sacs and a nice thick membrane. We all just assumed fraternal. BUT then I had a hard time telling them apart and so did everyone else (except Daddy). I started thinking more and more that they were identical so I sent away for the test and they indeed they are. I went with Affiliated Genetics, they were pretty quick, especially since Im in Canada and it took a long time in the mail.
