Identical Or Fraternal Cost To Have Tested?

Hi everyone my girls are 7 months now and we wonder if they are id or fraternal,I think they look alot alike but I can tell them apart most of the time and everyone else can tell them apart but sometimes get them confused,they to had sep sacs and placentas,I really want to get them tested but I heard it was expensive,for those that have had their babies tested what companies did you use and what kind of prices do they charge for testing.please share with me.Thank You a bunch.

 

I know that my girls shared a placenta and my doctor had it tested right after they were born and sure enought they were ID. Kind of scary tho because it also showed they were starting TTTS. I heard the one advertised on here is great too. Have fun

I had my boys tested by Proactive Genetics since it seemed that a lot of people here used them. I just got the results this week via email that they're identical.

 

i belive that most places cost money. I have heard a rumor though, and we're holding out for it, that at twindays in Twinsburg Ohio, they do free genetic testing if you participat in some type of study or something. Maybe someone that has been to it can fill in more but i believe tha they're going to have it this year. I see that you live in NC and I used to too, so hey...it's only an 8 hour drive throwing an option out...

 

i used Proactive Genetics. I did a lot of research and they are the cheapest, quick too.

We used Affiliated Genetics and paid $160 when we had the test done. Every place I looked at online gave their pricing on their website.

 

I just ordered our test today! We can't tell either. We ordered from Proactive Genetics and it is $160 plus $10 for shipping.

 

I ordered from Proactive Genetics on 3/1 and got the results that mine are infact ID on Wed. The test kit costed $160 plus $10 s&h. Good luck!
