identical girls

hi.
we are expecting identical twin girls. one will definately be named ruby. it is the ONLY name my husband and i agree on. thoughts on the other name...

I dont' like Dylan or Jordan; but I'm partial to feminine names for girls! Especially since Ruby is so 'girlie' and pretty. I like Ella!

You could always go with the "July" theme... Birthstone is Ruby, and Flower is Lily. (Water lily) I think they would be pretty names together, even without being born in July.

From your list I like Ruby and Ella, I agree that Ruby is so girly, the other should be too.

I like ruby and ella. Although I like the name Jordan too but agree with pp that ruby being so "girlie" that ella would probably work better

I agree, dylan is too masculine for a girl for me, but i love it as a boys name.

Jordan i am not a real big fan of, only because my girlfiend lost a baby at 9 wks and named it jordan as she didn't know the sex, so that name is just a little sad for me.

I LOVE RUBY and even though about it for my own girls. It is very fem and old fashioned in a classy beautiful way. I agree with pp that your other girl should also have a beautiful fem name.

I like RUBY and SCARLETT :wub: (both fem & old fash & VERY classy, and both are red, arn't they?)

I was going to suggest Lily too! I think Ruby and Lily is beautiful.

Ruby is such a beautiful girls name that I would give the other twin a more girly name as well. I love Ella. I'm not a fan of Dylan or Jordyn though because those are kind of unisex.

I love Ella, but with Ruby, I agree Lily, Eden or Violet are great choices. I'm not a huge fan of Lily, but Ruby and Lily seems like a great combination.
