Hey there, I am new to your site but it seems wonderful. I can't believe I just found it. My creativity is lacking these days...does anyone have any fun ideas for a first birthday party for girl/boy twins?

Welcome to TS! I'm glad you finally found us.

We had a very small gathering for their first birthday. There was no theme that year. For their second b-day we did Bob the builder and this year we did a Dora/Diego mix.

    Welcome!

We did Sesame Street for their first birthday (cookie monster cakes), Winnie the Pooh for their second and Dora and Diego for their third.

We did Raggedy Ann and Andy. It was really cute. I had plates, napkins, Raggedy Ann and Andy on the cake. We got them Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls. This was the wording of the invitations that I made...I had Raggedy Ann and Andy clip art on them that I found on the internet.

Bella and Camden are turning 1!

We did Mickey/Minnie... it was very cute! We used black and red balloons, napkins, etc. and had a cake with the Mickey clubhouse toy on it, and Mickey/Minnie centerpiece balloons.

    Have fun with it!

We thought of that when they were turning 1 but we decided to do the Mickey and Minne Mouse theme. For their 2nd birthday we will be doing the Raggedy Ann and Andy and will hold off our "Candy Land" theme until 3 (so they can play the board game together).

By the way, I still have the party collection of Super Woman and Super Man (I hope to use it for their 4th bday). It was hard to find those stuff and now Super Man is out at the party local store (they didn't have it last year because Spiderman).

I know eventually they'll want their own theme. When does that usually happen?

Anyway, I love the invitation wording -- perfect!
