So, usually I'm a very laid-back, don't rock the boat kind of person. Twins have definitely increased my type A personality traits...especially when it comes to being efficient at tasks. Anyways...yesterday, I was working in my Bible class room b/c I am starting to teach Sunday School again after year off with the babies. So, I was cleaning up the room and getting it ready. I was getting very frustrated at the condition previous teachers had left the room in...it was poorly organized and left very cluttered. Then I moved on to the whiteboard...which would not erase! I got the cleaner out and three tries later...very little luck. So, I just pried it off the wall and hauled it out back. I should mention that it is a very large whiteboard - probably 4ft x 10 ft! I have no use for something that doesn't work! When I told my husband about it that evening, he just looked at me in disbelief.

But, when I woke up this morning, my period had started and it all made sense! Oh dear. Anyone else have a first period post babies make them totally irrational?

Oh heck yeah! I have been totally out of whack with my mood swings and irritability since I had the twins. I would talk to your OB if it becomes a pattern.

Ugh, nothing in that department is the same since having L&L. Mood swings, cramps, headaches, etc. that I never had before!

after bleeding for about 4 weeks (at least that what it seemed) after the c-section and suddenly starting my period the following month i was totally fine. no mood swings, no cramps, nada but that didn't last. all of the subsequent periods have been horrible, loads of bleeding, cramping, WAY irritable/crying mood swings prior to and during...it's awful!
