Oh my, this language development is just the best part of this age. (and it's a good thing there is something cute!!) ;)

There was a tiny Scoop truck under the boys dresser and we could not get it out. First I tried and my arm just would not fit under there. Then Colin tried and stopped saying it was "too dangerous"

So I said I would try getting it with a clothes hanger. I put the hanger under and was able to pull out Scoop.

Colin says "Good job Mommy good job"

    :D

Nothing like looking like hero to your child! ^_^

    Anyone else impressed their child/ren?

That's so precious! I'll echo his sentiment - Good job Mommy!!

Yeah, through the years I've impressed them and my DH has been called a genius by them. It's the cutest thing, isn't it?

Reagan tells me and DH good job all the Time. We were just talking about how cute it is. :)

The funnies though was when we were out to eat and my Mom took Reagan to go potty, and then went potty herself. When mom got done, Reagan told her "Good job, Oma!!!" Which in itself was cute and funny, but when they got back to the table she then proclaimed to everyone in the restaraunt that Oma went tinkle on the potty, and patted her arm. Everyone around us laughed and my Mom blushed, but I though it was great. Reagan was so proud of Oma, and after all when the girls go potty, we proclaim it to everyone around too. :) LOL LOL

Rita tells me this all the time! We were playing with their lace-up cards the other day, and she looked over at the one I was lacing and said, "Good job, Mommy!" in the sweetest little voice. She tells me that all the time now and it cracks us up! She also says it to Natalie sometimes too, LOL. It's sooo sweet. :)

I love those kind of comments!!! So much better than the one I heard when my older dd was just under 3...she turns to me and says, "Mommy are you going to be nice to us now??" It was so sad!! But I started cracking up!! B/c I was being cranky, mostly due to 3 kids under age 3 misbehaving. So I just said, "yes, Emma I'll be nice to you, if you'll be nice to me!" She agreed to the deal and our day went much better after that.
