I am going to be 14 weeks on Wednesday. Everyday the M/S has gotten worse and worse than the day before. I'm even to the point where I can't keep water down. With the girls I was sick the entire time-literally. But it didn't seem this bad. With them I could predict when I would get sick and knew exactly what foods/smells to avoid. With this baby it's everything. I take a sip of water and it comes back up, I eat a piece of bread and it comes back up, etc. I've tried changing the water I drink and the brands/types of foods I eat and nothing is helping. What am I suppose to do now??!? I've got to get some food/water in me. I have no energy at all. I'm glad I got to see the baby on Friday to know that he/she is still growing great-otherwise I would be out of my mind with worry that the baby isn't getting anything.

I'm sorry to be venting again-I just needed to come to people that would understand. I really hope with the 2nd trimester comes the appetite and energy that I had when I was pregnant with DS. I'm really going to need it, we are remodling the new house and moving all by the end of the year. ;)

:hug99: I"m sorry this is happening to you!! My SIL is always sick her entire pregnancy. Have you talked to your ob about you taking something (pill) for the morning sickness? I forgot what that 'Z' drug was.

I had to take Zofran through my entire second twin pregnancy. For some people, unfortunately it just doesn't get better. Talk to your O/B about getting something, especially if you are not holding anything down.

Ronda I am totally feeling how you are. I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired. I finally begged for something to help keep food down at this last visit. I am taking visitral. Not something most people end up taking while pregnant. I didnt see my regular Ob but this is what he prescribed. It kind of helped on Friday when I took it, I went out to eat and we all got food poisoning and the throwing up and worse is back on again. I too got sick with my girls, but new my triggers and could still find something that I would be able to eat and keep down. I havent found any relief this time around. :hug99: :hug99: :hug99: :hug99: I know it doesnt help much but I am so right there behind you, praying that the second trimester brings me an appetite and some energy.

I forgot to add that the DR I saw mentioned I could take a unisom at bedtime and also Methyl vitamin B12 500mg oral disolving forum. I havent had a chance to try them but thought I would pass the information along. He also prescribed a new prental that has a vitamin in it that helps break down folic acid better, and its is said to help women with naseau. Just thought I would share this with you.

I took Zofran and another one (can't remember the name) when I was pregnant with the girls. Neither of them worked. ;) I have an appointment tomorrow morning so I'm going to talk to him about it then.

:hug99: I'm sorry you all got food poisoning. I've had it a couple times and it was no fun--I can't imagine dealing with it pregnant and with little ones too. :hug99:

Thank you! I will have to look tomorrow when I am at the store about getting some--I will also talk to my OB before I take anything new, just to make sure he's okay with it.

I do'nt have any advice, but definitely talk to your dr. about it. I was fortunate with both pregnancies...never got sick once. Was really nauseous first trimester with this one (but not with the twins), but never actually got sick. I did watch my SIL suffer through hyperemesis during both of her pregancies, so I can kind of sympathize that way. Her dr. had her trying everything.

Please watch that you don't get dehydrated and let us konw what the dr. has to say. I Hope you can find some relief soon.

Hang in there......mine lasted until 16 weeks and some get over theirs right at 12. I hope for your sake its sooner rather than later. Just remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
