My maternity and family pictures that we got made two weeks ago. THis is my last pregnancy and since we are giving the twins up for adoption I wanted to be able to cherish this time. Even though this pregnnacy has sucked big ones. lol

You had a great photographer. I know several people right now who are trying to adopt so I know what a great thing you are doing. Not trying to be nosy, but I wonder what made you decide to put your twins up for adoption. If you feel like sharing I would love to hear.

 

Thanks everyone. We decided to place the twins mainly because of my health issues. I was really sick before I got pregnant and I honestly didnt think we could get pregnant again. lol I was in and out of the hospital and I had an impossible time working and taking care of the two other children we have. My disease has gotten significantly worse throughout this pregnancy. We just decided it was best to give the twins up. I don't think physically I could handle four children when it was almost impossible to care for the two I have already. I just couldnt live with myself if something happened to the babies because I couldnt get out of bed to take care of them. My other girls are older and go to daycare and have family that help but with two newborns you just don't have that. It's been really hard and I am struggling with the decision but I know its the right one and I love the adoptive parents. It's going to take time though. THanks for asking.

 

If you don't mind me asking, what was going on before you got preg? Sounds scary!

I'm glad you found a family you love and trust to take care of those babes!

 

As an adoptive mother, you are doing something totally selfless. Know that I thank god everyday for the blessing of my oldest dd Isabella. She is the light of my life and without her birthmother, I would not have that. Even though it will be difficult to do this, you are giving another family an AMAZING gift.
