We have been looking and looking for a swing set. I've drooled over the big ones at Lowe's, Rainbow, Costco and Sam's. But, we found one that I really, really like at Menards! I don't know if you've ever been to this place, but it's awesome! It's kind of like a cross between Lowe's and Anderson's. Very, very nice...I was super impressed with everything they had there! We got to looking at storage sheds too!

Best thing was, they had a HUGE area set up that was fenced in (it was in their outdoor area which was covered) with a bigger playset setup and tons of ride on toys, adult swings, that roller coaster for kids, etc. The girls had a blast while we looked at the swing set brochures. Definiely gave us a feel for what they could and couldn't master on the swingset.

So, here is the one I think we are getting. It's $650...very good deal I thought! You can add on different packages. So, we decided we will start relatively small and then as they get older add more stuff on. We are going to purchase one toddler swing (it comes with two regular swings) and get a rock wall to put instead of the climbing wall (b/c they can't do that, but LOVE the rock walls).

Anyone have a Playstar Swing Set?

Looks really nice. My boys got the hang of the climbing wall quite quickly. They have a big sister to show them the ropes though.

That's really nice! We got one VERY similar to that at Lowe's on clearance this past winter. The only real differences I can see is that ours has a 3rd spot for one of those swinging 2-person rides and then it has monkey bars on the opposite side of the rock wall. I think it retailed for $800 but we got it for $190. Your girls will love it! We have found that one toddler swing doesn't cut it for us. We bought 2 of those Little Tykes swings at WalMart and they've been great. We got the ones that the cross-bar tucks under for then they are a little older and don't need to be strapped in.

We also did not install the monkey bar thing yet because we knew they couldn't climb it and we didn't want it to be a temptation. Maybe next summer we can put that part on. Oh, one more thing, DH built a set of stairs for the girls to get to the top of the tower since they aren't yet able to scale the rock wall and get there that way. I didn't notice if your's has stairs but it might be something you want to consider. After 2wks of me lifting them up and down constantly while pg, it was enough. LOL!

ETA: Yes, ours is a PlayStar brand too. We built it ourselves and I thought the directions were pretty good. We're really happy with it so far. We've only had it up for about 2mos though.

We are giong to get the climbing wall or the climbing stairs to replace the rock wall at first.
http://www.playstarinc.com/ps/components.asp and probably get some cheap toddler swings too. They also have an add on kit whre you can purchase the monkey bars or another extension for more swings. I need to look into that first!
