I think I've decided on the Citi Mini

I think I've decided to get the Citi Mini double sbs for the girls. DH is totally against buying one new, but I cannot find a used double sbs in acceptable condition and this one has everything I want. Ironically, DH bought a new laptop (against my wishes) two months ago that cost $400, so this would be pretty much even.

    What would you do?

I only have a Quattro Tour and a double jogger and that's all I've ever had. I don't know if I would go against my DH's wishes or buy a stroller behind his back. I think I would try to talk him into the stroller, maybe if you explain the reasons why you need it he will come around.

Personally, I would wait until you both can come to an agreement on one. There is no sense in trying to one up him since he made a bad choice.

I'd wait and try to find one you & your hubs can agree on :)

Oh, let me also add that we are giving our DuoGlider to DH's brother and SIL who are expecting #2 and DH wants me to just get a double umbrella stroller to replace it. That will be our only stroller, so that's why I'm pushing for something more substantial.

I say go for it. Your hubby will come around when he sees how lightweight and convenient it is :p I make purchasing decisions all of the time, and not always with my husband's pre-approval. Now if your husband is REALLY against the stroller, then I probably wouldn't buy it until he got on board with the idea. But if he has just expressed reservations about it, then he'll probably get over you buying it. I say this without knowing you or your husband, ha, so take it with a grain of salt! ;)
