I think it's gonna snow on party day

I've been working really hard to get my house, decorations, food and games ready for their 2 birthday parties. On Monday weather man calls for sunny clear skies. Last night DH mentioned snow and I told him he was nuts. This afternoon their calling for possibly 6 inches. I will probably be able to get the kid party in o.k. 10-11:30 a.m. but I think the family party will be a big flop. A lot of our family was planning on coming in from out of town. That means my guest list is going from 30 to 10 or so. They are so excited this year and we've been working on all our Thomas decorations and games...I hope for their sake they can at least have their morning party. The afternoon party was set to start at 4 p.m. and weather man is saying snow to get heavier as the day goes on...I always say they were due in March for a reason!!!! Thanks for letting me pout.

 

i'm sorry. i am bummed for you too. they will probably really enjoy the first party more though anyway. maybe the family will be able to come later after the weather calms down. then it will be like have 2 birthdays! YEAH!!!!

Weather SUCKS!!! Sorry things are not gouing the way you planned... We just had the kids party and I had it set for 50 people. When everyone was finally there there was 16 people including dh , em and the boys. and you know what WE HAD A BLAST. its the people that dont show that miss out... I hope the snow holds off and you have your party though!
