I think I'm more excited than they are!

I just got the boys their first kiddie pool... splurged and got the kind with a slide built in I just filled it with water and hope the water warms up a little by the time afternoon nap ends. They used the slide with the pool empty and cried like crazy when I had to tear them away for lunchtime so I think it's a hit!

 

We loved our kiddie pool last year. It didn't have a slide in it, but they still had great fun. We put warm water in it so it wouldn't be too cold. The water up here comes out freezing from the tap.

 

That WILL be a huge hit!!! Sounds like fun! Take pics and let us know how it went!!! (Go dump a couple buckets full of hot water in it right before they get in....)

 

Well, the verdict is that the kiddie pool is THE BEST INVENTION EVER! They splashed for a long time, went down the slide at least a dozen times each, and discovered the joys of dripping water off of hands and feet over the side onto the deck and watching it splash on the wood. It's supposed to be mid 80's again today so we'll be out there later.

I took a really great splash photo but our graphics card in the desktop went out and we're waiting for the replacement to arrive. I'll have to mess with this notebook and see if there is a freebie photo program on here somewhere so I can load and post it.

 

I can't wait to get our kiddie pool out! Mommy is going to be enjoying it more then them though, I just know it!

 

It's so fun to get new stuff for the babes. I definitely get more excited than they do. Have fun!!

My girls love the kiddie pool. They will go pull it out of the shed area empty and place it in the yard for us to fill!
