I know I have the right babies, but OMG I wonder how I got such great little girls. I don't want to brag because I know a lot of people struggle with sleep, but my girls are wonderful sleepers. I was such a mess for my whole pregnancy that I thought I would end up with crazy babies. Last night we put them down after their bottles and they both laughed and smiled themselves to sleep.

They are napping now. I really procrastinated putting them in their cribs for naps because I thought they would fight me. I have been doing it for 3 days now and it's a breeze. They put themselves to sleep.

I don't want people to think I am rubbing things in, but I think the main thing is, is that we don't play at all in the bedroom. They know the bedroom is for sleep and nothing else.

Good luck with your sleeping babies.

Congratulations! I'm glad they sleep so well for you. Sean is like that, he prefers to drift off on his own than be rocked or held. [IMG]

Rhiannon! That's wonderful!!! [IMG] I know it's hard when so many have sleep issues, but I think it's wonderful to hear that it can and does happen!! Congratulations on those little darlings!!

I have decent sleepers too - a little rocking and a little bink (for my daughter anyway) and poof!

I too don't use the bedroom for anything but sleep - I wonder if that has anything to do with it - good theory!

    OUrs are good sleepers too!

For us, we keep wondering if Allison is really ours (we know she is, but it is our joke). Elouise and our two older children all look alike - you can tell the are related. Allison is our pale skinned red headed little munchking. She looks nothing like me and the only thing she has of Nick's is his lips. If I hadn't seen her at birth before they took her to NICU I would swear that they switched her! We joke that Nick must have been cheating on me because she can't be mine - she looks nothing like me!
