I have a horrible rash that has spread all over my body. I can't decide which is worse, the itching or the pain! I've been doing a lot of online research this weekend and I really think it is PUPPS. I'm going to talk to my doctor first thing in the morning tomorrow, but wondered if anyone here has experienced this misery??

(I'm 26w4d pregnant with twin boys)

Oh no, that doesn't sound like fun at all. :hug99: I don't have any experience with PUPPS, but I hope your doctor can give you something to relieve the pain. :(

PUPPS usually starts on your belly - makes your stretch marks look very red and inflamed. It's rare for PUPPS to affect the whole body. You may have some other dermatosis of pregnancy. Your doctor will probably prescribe a steroid cream and benadryl. Hope you feel better - I hate being itchy.

I got it when I was 37 weeks w/ the girls. It was HORRIBLE!! I got a steroid shot and took oatmeal baths. It sucked!

    GL!

It did start on my stomach making my stretch marks very red and inflamed... but that was about 6 days ago. Now it has spread.

I had PUPPS and yes, you can get it almost everywhere!
For me it started about 30 weeeks (so I had it for 5 weeks!! yuck.) It started at a strectch mark, then spread my whole belly, then to all my joints, wrists, knees, ankles. Cold showers, or drapping a cold wet cloth over the area helped. I also had a steriod cream, but it took several days for it to work and by then it had spread to another area. For example, but the time the cream helped relieve my belly, it had broken out on my knees, then by the time my knees were feeling better I had it on my wrists, etc.....
Also everything I read said, right after delievery it'd be gone, it took me about two weeks post-partum to not feel itchy.

Also have your doctor check for Cholestasis of Pregnancy, I had that with the itching starting on my belly and then spreading. (itchymoms.com is the website about it)
