I think I got a good deal

I think I got a really good deal on Evenflo Triumph Advance LX car seats today at Target. They are regularly priced at $139.99, but were on clearance for $97.98. They are brown, which is not what I would have chosen normally, but the price seemed too good to be picky about color. We also got a 10% discount for opening at Target charge account. They had four of them and we bought them all so that we can have a set of car seats in the van and also in DH's car. We won't be needing the seats for a while since the girls are only 16 pounds, but when I saw them on clearance I thought we should snatch them. It will be nice to already have them when it comes time to switch seats.

Who has this kind of seat? Do you like it?

I have that one but not the advanced I just have the regular one when they were on sale at BRU for $89 and then we got the 10% off for the twin discount, then an additional $10 off coupon and a $15 off coupon. We got them when they were 5 months old and they fit in them fine and liked it so much better. I know they were only 13lbs or so at that time and they worked well!

I like it nothing fancy about it or anything but it serves its purpose. I like that they are rear facing and forward facing and go up to 50 lbs and the rate my kids are going we will have them for a very long time!!!!

I have these seats and love them! We started using them around 9 months, way before the twins were 20 lbs. (In fact, DD is still 18 or so lbs.) They seem so comfy for the twins.

That was a good deal too! We got ours at BRU, and I think they were around $140.

This clearance price is the best I've heard by far! WTG :clapping:.

Yeah. We just opened one up and I really think it's ugly. I'll only have to look at it for the next 4 or 5 years, right? Ha ha. I just keep reminding myself that we got an awesome deal and the safety is the most important thing.

Here's a link to a picture of the one we got. We got it at Target, not Walmart though.

    Congrats on the great deal!

Maybe at some point down the road if you have extra $ and really can't stand looking at them, you could consider something like THIS. However, it might defeat the great deal, since it's more money to spend on the car seat. It does have the added bonus of being easier to clean than the regular car seats. :)

ETA: I don't think they are that ugly... but I kind of like brown. I guess you develop a fondness for it when you have two boys! :)

Just before Christmas I picked one of these up for Evan for $109, so you got a great deal! Ours is all brown/tan. I like the one you got! Great job! :)

Hi. I sounds like a great deal! How long can you keep them rear facing? I.e. what is the limit, weight, height? that was a huge selling point for me when buying a convertible carseat. I kept my boys rear facing until about 2ish? The limit was 33 on my marathons and the height was relative to the kid :)

It's rear facing to 35 pounds and forward facing until 50 pounds. At the rate we're going, they'll be rear facing until kindergarten. :)

We have those seats (in a different, but similar pattern) and I think we paid around $110 for each of them at BRU, so I think you got a great deal!

We love them. I had trouble figuring out how to adjust the straps at first, but that was mostly because they are rear-facing and it can be hard to get to. But now I don't have a problem with it.
