I started spotting tonite:(

I dont know what to think; when i went to the washroom there was some red spotting on my undies and a couple dots when i wipe-I had the same thing at 6 wks-it was the one time -Do tell my doctor and get another appt for tommorow? what can they do for that? i wont be able to get an u/s til right away --I also had some stomach tightening is 10 wks to early for braxton hicks? Should i be worried??
I do have a UTI but im nearly done my antibotics and i can tell i have a YI as well can that cause bleeding?

 

Call the doc and let them know!! You probably need to stay off your feet and really push the fluids! :hug99:

 

I would call the doctor. They'll ask you how much blood (like did you soak through a pad), color of blood, etc. As Diane said, take it easy, drink some fluids. The cramping could be the UTI. Hope that you are feeling better.

 

thanks girls im going to really push the liquids! im drinking pepermint tea atm and a glass of water-its not alot couple of spots of blood but ill call my doctor tommorow and see what he says

 

Call your OB, drink a lot of water and lay down. The spotting could be nothing to worry about, but you need to let them know what is going on so that they can decide the best course of action. :love0028: Try not to worry, I know it is easier said than done, but relax until you talk to your doctor.

There can be many, many reasons for bleeding during pg...some women bleed off and on their whole pg. I had three huge bleeding epsiodes in my first trimester at 5wks, 7wks and 11wks this pg. All three times I passed big clots and lots of bright red blood...cramping, etc. Thought for sure I was m/c all three times and the little bean was just fine. Sometimes the placenta can bleed out or get a little loose in one spot. This happened at 15 weeks in my twin pg too...I passed a clot the size of a lemon then...and my docs told me later they thought maybe it was a chunck of baby A's placenta. Definitely you need to mention it to your docs...but it doesn't always mean the worst. Many times things are just fine.

 

Definitely call your OB and get off your feet. I spotted on and off throughout the first trimester but I also had a bunch of extra u/s to monitor the situation.

My doctor is away til tommorow-then he is at the clinic-i can see him and ask if we can get an earlier u/s then the one scheduled-Ill keep u all posted

Glad to hear that it went away, but definately follow up with the doctor and take it easy until you talk to him/her. Let us know how things tur out!

 

thanks girls! turns out my UTI just didnt go away with simple anitibotics; so now im on macro; he said it wouldnt cause a YI-wihich is good because it turns out the bleeding from me scratching and trying to get relief :blush: My cervix is closed up and no blood on the inside just the outside--He said UTI;s can cause bleeding-true this is my 3rd
