Okay, so I just sort of 'complained' about the boys taking too long to fall asleep in another post, but I have to admit....it TOTALLY pays off! It took them just over an hour to fall asleep today and I got soooo much done during their extend-a-nap that maybe I should just be grateful they were content to play/sing happily!

[SIZE=14pt]I want to know what you did during nap time today (naps and personal indulgences earn you twice as many points as chores ;) )

    3 loads laundry
    Organized my garage pantry
    Batch of oatmeal cookies
Batch of home made potato rolls
2 casseroles (one for tonight, one for the freezer)
    Cleaned bathrooms
    Farted around on TS ;)

:( I've totally wasted nap time and was just realizing that as I thought I heard a baby waking up!! I've wallowed in self-pity about my head cold, took more DayQuil than I probably should, glared at the boxes that I should be packing, poked around on TS, watched the news and checked the listings on Craigslist. I did make a pitcher of tea and a bowl of soup for myself! hehe Now, before they really wake up, ya think I could rake all of DH's papers off his messy desk and into a box and call it "packed"?

Suffered through another afternoon with a fever! That makes FIVE days in a row for me! But I'm not complaining, the fact that there was a nap today was a miracle directly from God!

I'm pregnant so I took a nap. I'm kinda kicking myself for it now because the house really needs picked up and I haven't done any laundry today. Oh well.....always another day right.

I didn't get anything done, since Emilie decided to only sleep for 30 min. today. However, Trevor slept for 3 hours. :)

WOW!!!! You go girl!!! I wish I could get just one of those things done!!!

    I farted around on TS
    farted around on TS
    and
did I mention that I farted aroundon TS???

I have a mountain of laundry that is borderline embarrassing. A floor full of toys, but at least the girls won't have to risk dropping them on their sweet toes in the morning by getting them out of the toy box :winking0009: so ya see, I am protecting my children by still farting around on TS now that they are asleep for the night!!

Well, it was naptime, so I napped, LOL! I thought that's what we were suppose to do, sleep when they sleep or is that taking the "newborn" rule a little too far? Oh, well, I'm not giving up my naptime!

    -ate lunch
    -folded laundry/started laundry
    -picked up their playroom
    -printed coupons online
    -played on TS
    -watched part of my Soap
-waited for the bug man to come spray the house

You'll note that all but 2 of those items allowed me to sit on my butt!! I have to relax during part of their nap, its a rule!!! ;)

I so miss all of them napping. DS1 stopped taking naps about a month ago. So today I:
    Played with my oldest
    Did 2 loads of laundry
Took out some flowers outside and replanted new ones
Painted the new gate DH built this weekend
Vacuum (well actually set up the Roomba to vacuum)
    Cleaned the countertops
    Watered the backyard
    Worked on my Craigslist Postings
    Played on TS

Today was a busy day. Somes times I just play with DS1 the whole time

I had to laugh at your post -- as nice as it is that the girls fall asleep pretty quickly for naps these days, I was sort of sorry to miss the 45 minutes of "not asleep yet" time, tacked on to the beginning of the time that they actually slept!

Anyway, at naptime today, I was at work. But I'm ashamed to say that all 3 days this weekend (Monday was a holiday), I napped too. I am weak.

wow, you got a lot done! Good for you, but remember to take a min to breath now and then :)

As for us, naptime went bye bye a while ago . . . so no such time here.

    Ate breakfast
    Posted Blog
    Checked Email
Caught up on TS (457 new posts!!)

    1 more hour to:
    do laundry
    pack 3 months clothes away
    finish watching American Idol
    eat lunch
    dare I say...scrapbook?

(just noticed this was the 1-4 forum! I feel so lucky to have so much free time!)
