I have a question for you guys about my singleton. He is 2 and a half and we are having problems with him overfilling his diaper at night and waking him up. I have been restricting fluid (actually denying any at all) for an hour and a half before bedtime and I of course give him a brand new diaper right before I put him down. Right now I am using huggies if anyone thinks that might make a difference. I would really appreciate any input or ideas anyone has. TIA!!!!!

Have you tried the Huggies overnight brand? You could also go up a size at night (we did this for a long time). We also used diaper doublers.

I had this problem with my son, and we resorted to adding liners (maxi-pads or tena liners) to his diapers, and putting a diaper wrap (meant for cloth diapers) over top of the disposible diaper. This helped absorb and contain the flood. My son did not pee a lot during the day, but when sleeping and relaxed, it would all come out. He is day trained now, but still wears a pull-up at night. We do not have many floods any more at night, but they still occur.

Have you tried the brand Goodnights? They are super absorbent... work really well.

Also, Huggies Natural Fit Supremes and very absorbent as well.

I use huggies overnight plus a diaper doubler. That usually works.

I put mine to bed and I have to go in again and change them (while they are sleeping mind you) at 9.30/10. It is a real pain but it gets them through and it can buy me an extra half hour in the morning which as you know is priceless. We use size 7 pampers on one (who wears 6 in the day) and the huggies overnights on the smaller boy, they only go up to size 5.

I agree with all the pp...I used to have to go up a size for my son and then I even think I used the goodnights brand once as well. I would try both of those suggestions. GL!

Try using the Huggies overnights or going up a size from where he is. I have great luck with the Huggies overnights.
