I am still working. It's only 7 hours a day and Mon-Fri, I'm rarely sitting and there's lots of up and down on the floor. I work with kids aged birth to 5 years with Developmental Delays and disabilities. I do lots of tube feedings and other treatments for the kids so I need to get down on their level. Wouldn't you know the little sugars are short? Anyway, by the time my workday is done, I am TIRED and worn out. My house is a wreck, to the naked eye, it's o.k. but I know there are things to be done. My bathrooms really need a good working over. I nested with both my girls AFTER they were here. I felt the insane need to clean baseboards while they napped in bassinets as soon as we got home. I know I will not get that luxury once the twins get here. I need you guys to yell at me and tell me how badly I need to get it in gear. I'm thisclose to calling a cleaning service. I have a baby shower this weekend so maybe the need to organize will hit when I need to find space for all the new stuff.

I say call the cleaning service & kick your feet up!!
I never really nested either for some reason & by the time I wanted to organize things I was on bedrest, so it was a no-go.
I did wash all the little clothes & have DH get the entire nursery in order, but other than that I didn't go crazy on the cleaning.

I thought that moving would bring on my want/need to nest and get ready.... YEAH RIGHT. Im with you, I JUST stopped working, and after the few days in the L&D, Im not feeling like doing too much, eventhough THIS would be the time to get it done! I dont think there is a set time for nesting, With my son, that time NEVER happened!

I nested AFTER my twins were born too. I hired a cleaner.

my babies came unexpectedly early and I was put on strict bedrest suddenly. Before that I didn't feel like doing a thing other than get through my workday and get the nursery somewhat ready. My FIL cleaned our whole house while I was in the hospital. It was such a great thing to come home to a clean house. If anyone asks what they can do for you when the babies come I suggest a cleaning service or even family pitching in and helping if they do things like that. :)
