My girls hated baby food. So I have just transitioned them to table food. I am having a terrible time coming up with ideas of things they will like. Here are somethings they are eating right now.

    Mac & Cheese
    Mini Raviolli's
    Bananas
    French Fries
    Apple Sause
    Yogurt
    Cherios
    Cottage Cheese

SO throw anything and everything at me. I am dying to give them some variety.

You're way ahead of us, but my girls hate texture, so I've had to mush and mash things like bananas, canned pears, canned peaches, canned pineapple, and then add yogurt to it. They really seem to like that and it gives them protein and fruit.

    Hi Jenn,
Here are some foods I gave to my son. (I bought 4 jars of baby food total for him, and only gave him 2).

Cooked carrots cut into small pieces
    Peas
Boiled potatoes cut into small pieces
    Avocado pieces (Excellent baby food!)

    Shredded Cheese
    Egg Yolks
    Tofu
    Beans

    Pancakes
    Crackers
    Rice
    Kix

    Blueberries
    Peaches
    Kiwi

Mine were big Mini Ravioli fans as well!

I can't think of anymore that aren't already mentioned...

I just tried egg yolks with mine yesterday. They loved them. I'll try something else in a week or so....they're still a little bit too young, I think, for too much experimentation.

The waffles are a huge hit over here too. I usually give them the whole grain blueberry flavor and they love them.

Mine like grilled cheese, yoplait yogurt, diced chicken, cooked hamburger, cooked carrots. They love mini pancakes, Campbells Healthy Request Vege Beef soup with no added water. I can't think of anymore right now.

They are eating whatever we eat these days...
for breakfast they had papaya, life cereal and some rice puffs. They are napping so no lunch yet but for a snack they had pieces of a blueberry muffin with a little butter and some of Nick's Apple Jacks cereal. For lunch I make these vegetarin chicken patties with a veggie and for a snack they'll have a fruit and yogurt (we do all natural plain no sugar added yogurt.) For dinner, whatever I eat. So far they have eaten chinese food, spanish, japanese food, thai food and a miriad of spices. The only thing they have yet to eat is meat, peanut butter and strawberries.

Jut to note, dh and I have ZERO allergies in our family and they babies are really interested in our food.

These are great ideas, and perfect timing for us too! We're starting the table food, eat-what-mom-and-dad-are-eating, process, but it's pretty irregular at this point--the stage 3 jars are the easy default on busy nights. I don't know if you crock pot stuff, but I made beef stew this week and it worked out great with the boys--since the veggies and potato and beef all softened so much it was perfect for them--soft but still chunky. And best of all, we all ate dinner together for once!

Great thread! I also really like dried fruits, like apricots, raisins and prunes. :)
