I'm just starting breakfast with my LOs, I have the super baby food book but I haven't looked yet this morning...can you give me some ideas for quick and easy breakfasts?

    thanks.

I get the whole wheat pancakes and tear them into bit size pieces and my babies LOOOOOVEEE yogurt so I give them that some times

Sometimes I mix fruit, a little baby oatmeal and yogurt all together, and they love it. I've also done egg yolks once - which was OK. We will be trying that again soon.

My babies barely tolerate the cereal...so, I often mix it with veggie or fruit purees to add some interest.

I also just added a touch of cinnamon to barley cereal...and they seemed much more interested!!

We also do plain whole-milk yogurt (at lunch) and that is a popular item, too.

unsweetened apple sauce is a big hit here. also pureed strawberries - but watch for a skin reaction. some babies with sensitive skin or ezcema (sp?) will get little red bumps around their mouth from berries.

Mine didn't like cereal alone at ALL! I also mixed it into fruits and they would eat it that way! There are all kinds of yummy options coming your way...pancakes, frenchtoast strips, waffles, all kinds of fruits, yogurt

For breakfast my boys get yogurt (a variety of flavors), some cut up fruit and either cheerios, a waffle, rice cake or pancake. They really like the finger food part of breakfast and yogurt is their favorite so this is the easiest meal of the day for me.
