OK, so I think it will be another week or two before I think about having another set of twins without a prick in my eye making me want to cry a little. I keep repeating that OF COURSE it's good news -- it just took me a while to wrap my head around it last time, and it'll be the same this time (if not longer).

Luckily, my husband and I are both planners and schedulers. I see no way around this for the next 10 years now, so that's good news.

SO, bear with me. When I told my friend last night, she actually said she feels bad for me. Now, the LAST THING I'm looking for is pity. In fact, it made me bristle a little and think "I can effing do this." (Sorry, rude language, but it's what I need right now I guess).

So I laid in bed last night thinking, I need a "theme" or a "mantra" for this pregnancy. Something I can continue to repeat to myself, and tell others when we share the news - so that people know I don't expect to FAIL at having a second set of twins.

    Here are my first thoughts:

    "Why Not?"
    "Piece of Cake"
    "The More The Merrier"
    "Cinchy"

Any others you'd suggest? I need something short and snappy. Thanks guys!

The kids go marching 2 by 2, hoorah, hoorah. Not so short, but you know the tune!!

Easy Breezy-when are you due by the way?

Oh, I like both of those.

I'm due July 20, but since it is twins I'm guessing more like July 4 or earlier. I had pre-eclampsia last pregnancy so went at 35+5.

"It was so much fun the first time around we wanted to do it again."

"We wouldn't want a singleton to feel outta place"

awwwww :( Ya know, my first post-twin pregnancy I was petrified of twins again. When I was pg with #4, I was a bit diappointed it was only one. Now, I'd be thrilled with a second set (though still prefer a singleton pregnancy from a "less risky pregancy" standpoint). As the years have passed since the twin infancy stage, the idea of it doesn't seem so bad as it is such a unique experience...plus you get two more precious babies!!!!

I think any of the mantras you've been given will work. I say rotate them throughout the days :)

I like this one!! But I also like going with whatever you're feeling at the moment (positive, of course!)

"I must be able to handle a lot!" - going off of the saying God only gives you what you can handle

"We were hoping for two!" - maybe a little reverse pysch. going on there for yourself!

    These are all awesome!

I especially love the "we were hoping for 2" -- that's great!!!! SO not true, but enough to stop any nay-sayers in their tracks!!!

Thanks everybody. Time is beginning to let me warm up to the idea...
