I need a middle name

We are expecting #5 in Oct. He will be our 4th boy & his 1st name will be Jude. I'm having a hard time coming up with a middle name. His siblings are named George Thompson, Owen Parker, Graham Thomas & Elia Danielle. Any suggestions?

I was looking at your other names and since the other two boys had somewhat matching middle names, I thought of some names that would match with your other son. Don't know if that is what you want or not, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

I'm not necessarily looking for another P name. All of the other kids' names are family names. Thompson is my husband's middle name, Parker was his grandmother's maiden name, Thomas was his dad's & my grandfathers middle names , & Danielle is my middle name. But there comes a point where you have so many sons that you have exhausted all family names that you would consider, & it seems that son #4 is that son, haha! The only one we haven't used is Lane, which is my dad & brother's middle names. We have thought about Jude Lane but I'm not sure since they are both 1 syllable names it it sounds right. What do y'all think?

 

It is awkward to say because of them both being 1 syllabul names, BUT how often are you going to go around calling him Jude Lane? He'll probably just get Jude, right? If you want to use it, then go for it.

 

For what it's worth, I really like the sound of Jude Lane - I would probably actually call him his full name all the time because I like how it sounds! ardon:

 

What about Jude Ezra? I always liked the name Ezra but my husband didn't so I never got to use it for my 3 boys. I do like Jude Lane as well.

One of my sons is named Jude Owen and you've already used Owen, so that's probably out. I really like Jude Lane. Jude is a tough one. We loved the name but weren't really keen on the middle initials of D or E because as an adult he may want to use a middle initial and he'd be Jude E. or Jude D. and both sound like Judy. Anyway, maybe that doesn't bother you.

And despite our decision about the middle initial, for a long time we strongly considered Jude Elliot, Jude Dylan, and Jude Evan. I like Jude Alexander too.

 

I think Jude Lane is very nice.

I like Jude Lane, too. I love that it is a family name like the other kids. Of course, I can't help but think it sounds like a Beatles remix (Hey Jude and Penny Lane). But, I do have a son named Lennon - so we like The Beatles.

 

Actually, the Beatles link is what sold my husband on the idea since he like Hey Jude & Penny Lane both, haha!
