This week has been too crazy.
Saturday morning my MIL babysat so DH and I could go to the eye doctor. I need new glass since Dani broke mine by pulling it off my face one to many times.
We get home, and my MIL tell us that the girls opened the front door and started to leave the house all while holding hands, cause you have to hold someones hand when you leave the house. Both girls were barefoot and my front step is full of ice. The dog got out. Sydney and Dani stood in front of the door calling for the dog, since my MIL did not realize that she got out.
Then my MIL got very sick and left instead of spending the day like she had planned so there went our night out.

At 9:30 my BIL calls and ask if he can come over and spend the night so he can see the girls in the morning. We say sure. DH goes to pick him up.
This morning DH and BIL are playing with the girls in the basement. I go upstairs. I hear DH screaming. Almost sounds like he is fighting with his brother, but not exactly.
    I run downstairs.
DH is at the sink washing Sydney's bloody hand. I go down stairs to the basement, see a very bloody perfect hand print.
I clean off Dani's hand put bacitracin on it. DH is trying to stop the bleeding on Sydney's hand. It won't stop. After 1/2 hour, I call the pedi. They tell me I can bring her in, but they can't do stitches in the office so if she needs stitches we will have to go to the er.
We decide to go to a pediatric urgent after hours care center. I squeezed into the backseat of the car between the 2 car seats so I can apply constant pressure to her hand. When we are almost there, her hand stops bleeding. We go in anyway. They clean it (it started to bleed again) and check it. She did not need stitches. We just have to make watch it to make sure it does not get infected.

Turns out the girls went into the bathroom and broke the ceramic toilet brush holder. Both DH and his brother thought that the other was with the girls, and did not come till they hear the crash. Both girls had their hands in the toilet bowl so they did not see the blood at first.

Don't you love that weekends are supposed to be "relaxing"? We had a crazy weekend too... so much so that I was actually looking forward to Monday. I never thought I would say that!

I hope you DD's hand heals up quickly and that today is much calmer for all of you!
