I miss sleep!

Just venting as I'm putting baby B back to sleep for the 4th time in 4 hours. He has been waking all night every night after only 25-50 mins of sleep. To say I am tired would be an understatement. I give him teething tablets, orajel, pain reliever. None of which seems to help!

 

I feel your pain, my kids went through that phase too and it is ANNOYING to say the least!

 

:hug: I know that you are talking about. Hope it soon improves. My husband and I used to sleep in shifts so that both of us could get some sleep every night.

 

My husband is a railroad engineer and works on call. He is gone a minimum of 48 hours and only home 10-16 hours at a time. Which 75% of that is spent sleeping so he can be rested to do it all again! It stinks but I don't have anyone to get up with or help with one or both of the boys in the middle of the night. Sometimes I feel like I'd give a kidney for someone to let me sleep longer than two hours at a time!

 

My heart goes out to you. We are going through the same thing but having no one to spell off with must be hard. Vent here any time and figure out what breaks/rewards you can give yourself. My two favs are a walk with the babes during the day and ice cream at night.

 

I am so sorry. I hope things improve soon! I can only imagine how tough it is to not have help in the middle of the night.

 

Sleep deprivation sucks.

That said, I can't even count the number of threads I've seen on multiple parenting boards bemoaning the horrible sleep of babies aged 8-10 months. It's a notorious regression period. I hope it will pass quickly.
