I just wanted to share that I made it to 24 weeks! I am so excited as my twin nephews were born at 23w5d and one passed away and I've been really scared this whole preg (still am really). I had u/s today and they are both a pound and a half!! Measuring within 3 days of each other, baby a (Kiera) sucks her thumb alot and baby b (Kamryn) has chubby cheeks! I am so loving this privilege of having these babies in our life. I almost didn't post as I don't want to jinx how well this is going but I just had to share. By the way, anyone have pain in the chest (right beneath brastrap in middle) it hurts when I cough or move quick and is getting worse by the day. Thanks for reading!

usually pain there is heartburn...but not associated with coughing or moving...it could just be pressure on your rib cage by the babies.... I do know of a woman who had her rib broken by her very large son.... The doc didn't believe her when she said she thought it was broken... But a year later when she was getting a scan for something else, they asked her if her rib had been broken in the last year or so. !!!!

Yay! Congrats on reaching this milestone!

My mom says when she was pregnant with my brother and me, the soft cartilage at the end of her sternum under her ribs actually curved outward from the pressure of my brother pushing up into her ribs!

:yahoo: 24 weeks is great! I'll be there in a few days and I know I can't wait! I hope your pain eases up! We don't have too much longer (so I like to tell myself!). I wish you the best of luck and a healthy pregnancy!

Congrats on 24 weeks. My doc stated that as the first major milestone in a twin pg. SCared me some but put in perspective too. :) Glad you made it...I am almost there!

Yeah for you! I was so relieved last week when I hit the 24 mark! This is the time when all of the success stories of premature babies really hit home. I have been having pain in the chest too, but it is under my ribcage. At first I thought it was because the boys' heads were up there and now it's their feet and it's worse! I asked my doctor about it, and she said there is nothing to do but take a Tylenol or two. My mom says it's payback, as I cracked one of her ribs in utero (sp?). Hopefully my boys won't both be 9lbs 8ozs. :D
