I made a mommy mistake

My DS has fallen off the bed a couple times before, but being he's so solid it's never hurt him. Of course I don't leave him alone anymore. My DD I never worried about because she doesn't roll around on the bed, well until the other day.

I was sitting on my bed watching t.v while the twins were playing next to me on the bed. I was completely zoned in to the t.v (ADD at it's finest) and didn't realize DD had rolled to the end of the bed and rolled off

It actually turned out to be funny because she landed on a blanket that was on the floor and the look on her face was priceless. like "um, what just happened?"

Now I know they are at that age where I need to pay more attention to them when they are on my bed.

I'm Sorry :hug99: I have BTDT, but my DD didn't land on a blanket! Im glad she is OK!

 

I think at one time or another - we all make that same mistake. I did when the girls were about 9 months - Madelyn fell off my bed too.
Glad your daughter is fine.

 

I'm glad she's okay :hug99: . Annalise fell off the bed last week and had nothing to catch her fall . I'm also making sure to be more careful!

 

We've all been there. I know for me - it only took once for that panic feeling to take hold and I learned really quickly how mobile they really are! No more high places for my two...

 

No worries - it all turned out ok - thank goodness for the soft blanket! Good reminder for all of us though to be careful.

 

Glad she is ok. We all have our moments!!
