I love this latest "milestone"

Yes, the whining might kill me sometimes but this makes it ALL worthwhile in the end!!!

We've hit the "I LOVE YOU MOM/DAD!" Stage! :wub: :wub: At first it was in response to us, but now it's often unprovoked!!! :hug99:

 

Aww, that is so sweet Diane! :wub: Isn't that the greatest?! I can't wait to we get to that point with Emile and Trevor.

That is the best! Now if only we could cut out the whining and tantrums we'd be all set!

That truly is the best. The only other thing that tops that for me is when I heard mine saying their prayers before bedtime and they thanked God for "mommy, and daddy, and then mommy again " I just lov em to pieces.

 

OOOH how sweet! I bet it's sweet music to your ears. My two have started the leg hugging thing that I thought was awesome. I can hardly wait for them to actually TELL me they love me. Cool!

 

Aw...I'm jealous. We'll get there eventually, but for now I'm content with the fact that they demand to kiss each other night-night before naps & bed.

And I love 'em even better when they do it to each other! The other day when we were getting ready for bed, Natalie just went over to Rita, looked right in her eyes and said, "I love you Rita!" and gave her a hug. :wub: I almost died! I swear I must have gotten 3 new cavities from all the sweetiness! :wub:

 

Yes it is great. The one that melted my heart was "vincent, you're my best friend" With the response"your're my best friend too"

Nolan's new thing is "I your friend, Mama", I just think it is so cute!!!

And this morning when Meghan got up after Nolan, he greeted her with "Good Morning, Meghan, I want to give you a hug"

 

I love it too!! Zayne often asks me "Do you love me, Mommy?" or "What's the matter, Mommy? Are you ok?" (Maybe I looked stressed..I don't know!) Lately she has been telling me that I'm special and that she is SO proud of me! Maybe it's because we are PT her and we tell her that we are SO proud of her.
When we get in the car to drive to anywhere, this is what usually transpires - keep in mind that these conversations happen at the same time - they don't take turns telling us that they love us and eachother...this goes on for the entire trip home! We have to keep track of who just said "I love you" to who. I call it the "I Love You Circle.". It just keep going and going...so funny!

Zayne: I love you mommy!
Me: I love to too, Zayne!
Zayne: I love you daddy!
J: I love you too, Zayne!
Zayne: I love you 'Cauley!
McAuley: I love you too, Dayne!
McAuley: I love you mommy!
Me: I love you too, McAuley!
McAuley: I love you daddy!
J: I love you too, McAuley!
McAuley: I love you Dayne!
Zayne: I love you too, 'Cauley!

They also do this with "Thank You" and "Sorry"

 

Awesome! I got a spontaneous Mommy you pretty from Dylan last night. Melted my heart!!!!

 

I forgot. We now do this....

How much does Daddy love you? "To Infinity and beyond"

 

Oh, such sweet moments! If you haven't taught them to sign I LOVE YOU, that's a great treat, too! Mine are at the stage now where it's cool to have a 'secret code' - when they are playing way across a room, we can do a quick ILY...nothing beats those smiles!
