I love my OB!

My OB is just awesome! I love her! I went in today and she did a no-charge ultrasound because SHE wanted to make sure when we hear the heartbeats we are each each baby's HB and not the same one twice. And also, like she said "I don't mean to sound like Debbie Downer, but if one twin vanished, it is better to find out now than two months down the road"

So we saw both babies and the HBs were good. One looked like it was wiggling up a storm and the other one looked like it was boxing the side of the sac!

I go back in four weeks. I am just very pleased to know both are there. Even though the last thing I thought I wanted was a twin pregnancy, it would have killed me to see one go. (naturally)

I am still in shock, though. 6 weeks after finding out I am PG and I am still shocked at the idea that I am going to have two babies and not just one. Amazing.

 

That is great! Sounds like you have an awesome doctor. Congrats on the twins!!

 

It is always good to love your OB! It makes your pregnancy so much more tolerable!
I drove 1 hr each way for most of my appts during my pregnancy- because I liked my OB so much. I always chose what hospital to get shipped to when I went into PTL at right before 32 weeks, by which one he could still follow me at

That's great! My OB does an U/S every appt also and it is SO reassuring!!

I know I was in shock about having twins for about 10 weeks after we found out!!!!

 

Yay! I swear, an u/s at every appt should be mandated by the OB association or whatever --- it's so reassuring and fun!
It really makes up for the agony of twin pregnancy . . . almost!
