I love Mondays...

I never thought I'd say that but I LOVE Mondays!!!

The kids are monsters all week end, whining and crying and screaming for attention... On Mondays, they are complete angels. They've been playing happily on their own in the living room for TWO hours now. Every time I go check on them they just smile at me and keep playing!

Of course every day gets worse until Friday but this is just so nice... Lol!

 

I'm glad you're able to enjoy your Mondays You gotta learn to love the little things in life! Cause sometimes it's the only thing that keeps you from going insane

I wonder what it is about Mondays that they like so much?

 

I know we tend to go "off schedule" on weekends which messes the kids up. Do you think that's what's happening at your house too? Maybe they just do better on the schedule. Whatever is causing it, I'm glad you're having a good day.

 

No, we stick to the schedule on week ends... it's having dh around that drives them crazy I swear.

 

:yahoo: for Mondays! Sometimes my kids get all out of sorts on my DH's days off (but his can be any day throughout the week). Glad you are having a good day, Fran!

My kids went through that for a little while, too. They'd be great with me, great with DP, but with both parents around, they were little monsters! They'd compete for attention from her and from me, and it was crazy. It disappeared as quickly as it began, thankfully.

 

Mine are like that a lot. I think it is because of the off schedule thing also. Daddy is home and they want his attention, which is hard sometimes because he is trying to catch up on stuff and spend time with them, we do things that don't always happen during the week. It is hard sometimes. Thank goodness for monday!!!!

I love Mondays too as I get help back! Weekends can be a nightmare here too! LOL!

 

we love mondays around here, too. in the am the speech therapist basically plays w/them for 90 minutes, then the grandma's come over for an hour and mommy goes to weight watchers, and at night daddy puts them to bed (lol!) and mommy goes to class (a speech develpoment class). such an easy day for me!
