We've started saying "One just wouldn't be enough!". Anyone else feel the same way? I absolutely love having twins.... and one baby wouldn't have been enough :)

Twins are the best! Molly and Owen are 6 months old - and we are having so much fun. I do feel overwhelmed at times - but, I wouldn't change anything for the world.

i feel EXACTLY the same way! i love it.

someone in a restaurant today asked about the babies. she said "well, God bless you," meaning that i needed all the help i could get. but i see it totally differently, so i smiled and replied that God really had blessed me.... it's like hitting the jackpot. especially after so many years of ttc.

    you're not the only one!:)

My DH and I have been saying this since we brought them home - it seems so natural to have 2 at a time! I absolutely L.O.V.E. it and have been having such a blast with them :)

It is still awe inspiring to look at them both together. I love being a twin mommy. I too, couldn't imagine it any other way. Even though they mostly sleep and eat, the little bit of time they are awake during the day is filled with smiles and coos, looks of wonderment and curiosity, and best of all, time of togetherness. Life is wonderful being their mom. Watching my other children with their little brother and sister is great. Watching DH with them fills my heart with joy.

Having twins has been the hardest experience of my life (neither of my boys have been 'easy' babies)... but there are so many aspects that I LOVE!!!! My boys are so attached to each other, and they love being together - I actually feel sad when I see a singleton baby their age (like, "aww, it's so sad; that poor baby doesn't have a constant friend!"). And it is pretty cool to be a part of the 'twin club!' You know - how you can be out at the store without your twins, and see someone with twins, and you ask something, and the parent answers with that 'oh, yet another question from a twin-gawker' look... and then you say, "I have twins, too!" and the parent's face lights up, and, boom, instant connection!! :D B)

As we get past that helpless baby stage, I am more and more excited to be a twin mom! I'm soooo looking forward to watching my boys grow up together!!

I love being a twin mama too! I love seeing them interact together. I love having such two very different babies, like night and day! I can't imagine my life without either of them.

I was just telling a nursery worker today that I LOVE BEING A TWIN MOMMY! It is the best thing in the world. A lot of people scared me and it has not been hard at all. Yes, there are times when I am overwhelmed but 95% of the time things are great with the boys!

So many people will come up to me and say "Gosh, you have your hands full" or "You poor thing" and I just look at them and with a big smile on my face tell them how blessed I am!

    I Love it!

yes I can happily say that I am finally beginning to feel as if having twins is a good thing. I was too overwhelmed the first 4months to appreciate the positives of twins, but now that they are like little people we are having fun!

(not that I love my singleton any less, though. ;) )

I was very overwhelmed for the first 6 months. But once they started cruising and walking we started having so much fun. So for me, it was a bit later but I couldnt imagine it any other way. :)

I love it! I tell people all the time I'm so lucky to experience this because there is nothing in the world like it! When they interact with eachother, I could just cry. My son's face lights up when he see's his sister. It's so freaking cute!!

I love it...now...honestly the first three months, I hated it....but now that we are sleeping, I love it. I can enjoy them and everything that goes along with having twins. I am still amazed I have two babies and we ask all the time how we lucked out.

    Absolutely, yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Neither DH nor I can imagine our lives any other way. We've actually both made the comment that we'd LOVE to have another set....and that we might even be a *tad* disappointed if we only have singletons from here on out (not that we'd be sad about having a child...I think y'all know what we mean). ;)

I'm a firm believer that God gives an extra measure of grace to mothers of multiples!

I had a singleton first (and a very hard one at that… hence the 10 year age gap), so needless to say I was sooo scared of having TWO… but I almost feel this is the way it should be… and if I could have another (got the old tubes tide after my c-section) I would hope them to be twins… 100%
    I love it!!!!

Yes, I love it!! Even though at times I think it would be so easy with one, no way would I change it! I love it! I love seeing them together and they are going to be so close and get to grow up together- that is so cool!

I absolutely second that. We still want 4 total children, and I am starting to think I'd love a second set of twins. I'm nuts! :D

oh my goodness!! I love both of my girls SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't imagine only have one or the other. I am so thankful to be a twin mom, although it is freakin HARD!!

My husband & I also joke about having another set of twins. I have to say, I think I could handle it, since twins is all I know. A set of boys would be cool. ;)

I feel exactlty the same! One would not have been enough. Even on days where I am so tired and fruastrated. I would not trade it for the world.

Ditto!!! I couldn't imagine my life without both of them  . It also makes me feel better about leaving them at daycare since they have each other. When I talk to other pregnant women or people with new babies I have a habit of saying them instead of him/her. I am sure it annoys people, but it seems strange to just talk about one child.

I loved being a mom to my oldest DS and love being a mom to twins, too. There's just something special about it all! I think my DS (eventhough he is only 2) really senses it, as well. It's truly amazing! Now, I definitely see a difference in having two infants compared to one, it's so much tougher in my opinion... especially finding the time to do it all for two babies + toddler. I would never change any of it, though. It's just meant to be for us.
I've enjoyed reading all of your thoughts. Where would I be w/o this site???
