I'm 29 weeks at my past 3 appts I have measured 33 weeks. Is that normal? On my other twin board the mommies due around or a little after me are measuring 6 to 10 weeks ahead. My babies were measuring average at their last growth scan (last friday). I know that everything is alright with them.
On another note - I am bigger now then I ever was with both my girls. I had them both at 37 weeks.
I also can't seem to eat anything anymore. I feel so full and gross even after a bowl of cereal. I am surprised that I don't vomit up my food it's so bad. I have an appt on Friday so we'll see what I measure then.

Thanks for listening to my paranoid-self. Believe me with my girls I never worried about a thing but with twins ... my brain doesn't shut off.

I always measure about 7 or 8 weeks ahead. My doctor said that's perfectly normal for twins. I'm in my 35th week and measuring 42 weeks and the babies are doing great.

I pretty much always measured 4 weeks ahead... some appts my measurements were the same as the previous week. It can be because of the babies positioning- if your dr's not worried, I wouldn't be either...

With the twins, at 20 weeks, I measured 40. At 30, I measured over 50 weeks. That was as far as her tape would go, so she didn't measure the last 5 weeks.

I wouldn't worry too much about not changing. I had a few appointments that I measured the same as a few weeks before. Remember, they are only measuring up, not around. A change in babies positions can make a huge difference.

I'm like you - I measure small for twins too, at my 30 week appt. I measured 33. My Dr. says it's no big deal (the babies are appropriate sizes and that's all that matters), she only measures me for fun.

    Hi Evie

I am on par with you. Am 29 weeks pregnant and am measuring 33 weeks - my ob says that is fantastic - babies weights and fluids are great - and he is hoping b/c I am only measuring 4 weeks ahead that I shall go closer to full term.

    Keep well. :winking0009:

My dr doesn't even tell me what I measure. The only number I find out as far as weeks go is the babies size when I have an u/s. He also tells me percentiles now. He feels that the numbers don't matter as much with a twin pregnancy as far as the size of the uterus. As long as the babies as the right size and they are doing well we are good to go. Relax, everything will be fine.

I completely understand about eating. I eat breakfast and dinner now and maybe (if its a good day) a snack in between. They push up on your stomach and there's just no more room! I am 32 weeks.

So, I had my appt on Friday and now I am measuring at 32 weeks .. I am confused. I know a couple of people asked if I was growing in other directions like on the sides. NOPE! I am all baby just sticking out front like someone cut a watermelon in half and glued it on me.
