So, lately the cute quotient in my house is sky-high. I'm afraid we're going to get fined for too-much-cute in one house. I'm sitting here remembering the **** of the first few months compared to this blissful stage. In the beginning my two year old was a total monster--acting out in every text-book way. Drove me batty! The babies never slept and cried all the time. Now it's like I traded in the old models and got these brand-new happy, adorable kids. My two year old (who is potty trained now--WOO-HOO! now I only have 2 in diapers!) LOVES his brother and sister, and plays with them all day. He sings to them and brings them toys and is such a great little helper. Everyone smiles and giggles and I just couldn't be happier. I just have that feeling where you feel like your heart is going to explode out of your chest because you love them so much and it's just overwhelming. Of course I realize that at some point tomorrow I'll look at the crazy-chaos, and hear the whining, and survey the mess, and want to scream----but for this moment I am feeling on top of the world, and I am so blessed!! Reyna
:good: That was such a beautiful post! It's great to hear good things like this. And your new avatar is beautiful!
That age was definitely my favorite. They were becoming independant because of crawling and learning to do so many new things!!

The twins/toddler thing can be outright ridiculous some days! But like Reyna, we've turned a corner here. My 3 year old has stopped tantruming naked for no apparent reason and the babies are on a schedule. That, I can live with!
Older babies are awesome, aren't they? Though I don't know how you do it with a toddler in the mix! :bow2:
That's awesome. Can you have your little man send some of that wonderfullness my way??? ... LOL!! And how great that he is potty trained! I have a girl over age 3 and she just won't have anything to do with it. I don't press but I'm wondering if she'll ever want to use the potty...EVER!!! So I have 3 in diapers Anyway, thanks for the nice post and congrats again on that potty training.

We told him before Christmas that Santa would bring him presents if he learned to go on the big-boy potty. Well, whaddaya know--that same day he started going, and refused to wear diapers. He insisted on big-boy underwear and that was that! When they decide to do it, it's so easy! It's just getting them to decide to do it! Lots of bribery! Reyna
Reyna-Thanks for the happy post, it is so wonderful to have days like that, makes all the other "not so good" days worth it, ya know!
So glad to hear all is going well!!! I have a two year old too, and we are in that acting out stage- as well as the girls are getting more "vocal" crying much more!!!! Glad to hear things will look up
SOOO encouraging!!! I feel like I am about to enter that phase but they are just adjusting to all of the new tricks they have learned lately
how wonderful! and yes, hooray for potty training. I swear i do NOT know how you all w/toddlers as well do it; i think i would go starkers! and yes, the new avatar is fabulous!
