I am so tired latey. I don't know if it due to restless nights or what. I try to do little chores around the house each day and take care of my 2 boys, but that is about it. I want to get out and do things, but I just don't have the energy. Just watching my boys running around the house makes me tired! Is this normal and do you get that normal burst of energy at the end of the pregnancy? My DH has been working long hours, so not much help there either.

Trina-I'm sure it is totally normal. First off you have 2 older boys to take care of and that alone is not easy and would make you tired. And on top of that you are pregnant with twins. You must be exhausted. Try to take it easy and rest. I did get a burst of energy at the end with my singleton, not sure with twins though since mine came so early. I'm sorry your DH has been working long hours. Is there anyway he can cut back a few hours or have someone come help you? You could definitely use the help and rest. :hug99:

Im sorry to say but it really doesnt get better... My energy has gotten worse and worse week by week. The only time i seem to have energy is when my DD goes to bed at 8Pm. Even then i dont feel like doing anything..

i'm behind you about a week and also feeling that way. today dd wants to make cookies, so we will do that. then go to a bbq, where i will sit the entire time, and that is all i can do for the day. my DH is the best man in the world, though, because he does EVERYTHING. i can't tell you how this guy has risen to the occasion. but his work is very flexible and it's the very quiet time of the year for him, so he has the time to do everything. it would be different if he didn't.

anyway, hang in there. rest as much as you can (easier said than done, i know). don't beat yourself up for not getting things done. you're the sole source of life for your two babies right now. that's all you should have to do!

I dont have any energy either. I am the type that has very high metabolism too. I start my day and keep going and going and going till I go to bed but this pregnancy is kicking my butt. I know with my last 2 pregnancies, I was only uncomfortable for like the last week I was pregnant but with these twins I am already uncomfortable and cant do anything. The only thing I really worry about now is the clothes, dishes, and cook dinner at night. The rest of the dust bunnies all over the house can just wait. I know that it is not much longer. The end is in sight for both of us. Not much longer and we will realize it is all worth it.

I am not as far along as you but my butt is getting kicked with no energy. It feels like a mental challenge to make it through the day. Usually I try to go to bed around 10 and last night (one of the few Friday nights my DH has off), I feel asleep on him around 9:30, though I had been nodding off starting at 9:00. There just cannot be enough sleep for me!
