Jack and Anna are 2 today. I can't believe it! I remember when they were itty bitty looking at those of you with babies 6 months and up and thinking, "I will never survive to that point. That seems so far away." Now I have 2 year olds. How did that happen?

I'm excited about being in the 2-4 forum. I'm terrified of potty training, and I guess I should work on that sometime between now and age 4, huh? Looking forward to chatting with you ladies!

Welcome Rachael! Don't worry about potty training... if you wait until your kids are ready, it's actually quite easy. It's when you push them before they're ready that you hear the horror stories. (IMHO)

It is crazy being here in the 2-4, but lots of fun! :)

And I agree, if you wait til they are ready, potty training isn't too bad. At least it hasn't been in my experience with pting my oldest. I haven't yet attempted it with my twins b/c they are NOWHERE near ready!

Anna is acting like she is, so I don't want to miss an opportunity, but I'm being very, very low key.

She is taking off her clothes all the time, taking off poopy diapers because she doesn't want to feel dirty, trying to change her own diaper, and asking to use the potty. I don't really expect it to work this young, but I feel like I should try. We have been working on learning to pull down her pants, walk to the bathroom, and sit on the potty. So far, nothing has happened on the potty, but that's fine.

Jack? Maybe by the time he is 4?

Happy birthday to my second favorite set of blonde b/g (or is that g/b) twins!

And it's funny that you said she "passed gas on the potty" in the SY forum. Give it a few more months and you'll be saying exactly what I said this morning to Alice.

"YOU FARTED ON THE POTTY!! Now POOP!"
