I have to thank you ladies

I didn't nurse my twins (personal choice) but I HAVE learned so much from you guys! - I'm doing my OB rotation and I got to tag along with the LC today on her rounds, and I impressed her with how much I knew about BF'ing...I lurk here - I have so much regard for you guys...

Did you get to meet any fresh babies today?

 

Michelle - not really...the babies in the nursery were all at least a day old - the fresh ones from L&D (I was on mom/baby today) weren't quite ready to come over (there were 10 women in L&D and at least 3 sections going on) but it takes hours for them to come over - I did get to see 2 circs, helped with 2 discharges and took a LOT of vital signs LOL...and got to wheel babies out of the nursery to their moms (all babies go in the nursery after 7 am for assessment/vitals etc...) and I got to do 2 newborn assessments...next week I go over to L&D and possibly NICU...
