I have to admit, i had some hesitations about getting a trampoline, but my boys loved it so much at my sisters that we decided to get one. I found a used one on craigslist for 50 bucks-- Safety Net Included--- and it is the BEST 50 bucks ever spent! Let me just say--The safety net is a must!! We put our little tikes slide next to the entrance and taught the boys to climb the slide ladder and then climb up on the trampoline. They can do it by themselves and they can get down by themselves too. They use the slide to climb on to getting off and slide down. It is 12:50 right now-- about to put them down for a nap-- but they have been on the trampoline since about 9:45 this morning..lol. THey chase each other on there, jump, make up games, bounce balls-- ENDLESS fun. We have had this thing for about 2-3 months and it has NOT lost its fun factor yet. Every kid that comes over goes right for it-- and we have a nice wooden swing set, and ride on toys to choose from, but the trampoline wins every time. I would be a nervous wreck without the safety net because mine do like the wrestling moves where you run from one side of the "ring" to the other..lol. Anyway, i just thought i would let you know what a success it has been at our house. Thank goodness for craigslist!

    Great advice!!

There is one at the Early Intervention playgroup we attend that has a handle you hold while jumping, and my girls go right for that one too. I agree...endless entertainment.

Mine LOVE trampolines too. Lots of fun when you have the safety net.

We had one for our dd- it was awesome! It was a pain to install!! Also, the protector that goes around the springs started to wear really terribly due to the elements. We had it about 3 years and it was in lousy shape and had to be tossed. It is too bad there isn't some sort of cover for it and I most likely would have bought replacement parts for it to maintain it if I could have found such a thing. But, great deal for $50 and it is an amazing excerciser and entertainer for everyone!!!!

Yep, I'm with you on that! My kids all love the tramp, and the boys can get on and off by themselves as well! I'm glad your kids are enjoying it!

We have the mini one for in the house. I know that the big one's are a cause of great injury, but if you can teach your kids safety on them, you'll have years of entertainment out of it!!
