How do you keep them from takinng their diapers off? How do you get them to actually sit on the potty instead of peeing and pooping on the floor?

My twins cannot be alone in any room because they will use the floor. Its getting ridiculous. I spend every morning washing their floor and walls because they take off their diapers during the night. They also quick take off their diapers when I go out of the living room and go right on the floor in there. Its very messy and disgusting. They refuse to sit on their potty chairs. Any ideas? I'm running out of cleaners.

Sorry I dont really have any advice. If you dont want them to take their diapers off, I would just keep pants on them, but Im sure they can take those off too, cuz my DD does it all the time.
Im sorry you are having a hard time of it.
Im currently staying with my mother, and she would have a cow if one of the twins used the bathroom on the floor, but when I move, I do plan on trying the diaperless/naked method and just taking them potty every 15 minutes or so.

The only thing I can suggest is to try giving them rewards for going on the potty, and just make a really big deal out of it, if they even sit there for a minute or a few.. Big smiles, and clap your hands. i tell them to give me five. They like that. My DD is the only one really showing interest, but my older children will tell her good job and say shes a big girl..so that makes her happy.

    Good luck

I used to keep pants on mine to keep them from taking off the diaper, but recently they have been taking those off! I have heard that duct tape on their diapers works wonders so I'm thinking of trying that!

I didnt use ductape but I was guilty of using masking tape like you use when you paint because it is easy to tear when you want to change them. Doesnt that sound terrible that I had to tape my twins nappies on  but I didnt know what else to do. It only took a little while for them to get over the faze then I havent done it again. But I would rather that than chase everyone around every five minutes trying to put their pants back on and looking for the hidden nappies in wherever they could jam them :)
