Our girls were born at 35w3d at 7:20 and 7:21 pm. It's now 2hrs past that point in this pg. Woo-hoo!

I saw my midwife last Wednesday at 34w6d. She said he was head down, measuring 38wks (!!) and doing great. She also said she wouldn't be surprised if I didn't make it past 37wks. I told her I want to make it to at least 37wks for his sake. I don't want another preemie. I want a big, fat healthy voracious baby. Dealing with all of the feeding issues and weight gain issues with the girls aged me decades and I'm just not up for it again.

So, because she feels so strongly that I won't go past 37wks, she bumped my strep culture up a week to this Wednesday. She'll also start internals that day too so we'll have some idea if anything has started happening in there. She scheduled a growth u/s for 38wks but is "highly skeptical" we'll get to it. She also said the MD (I have to see the OB once during my pg for a VBAC and that was at 20wks) wrote in my chart that I'm a "great candidate for VBAC". Let's hope she's right.

Otherwise, things are trucking along. I still don't have my bags packed (meant to do it this weekend) and I just got his clothes washed today. I've been having TONS of pain from my pubic separation and I can no longer pick up Casey without extreme pain. I can pick up Mandi but can't walk with her in my arms. I cannot wait to be able to pick them up at will and hold them comfortably again. They've been SO good about it but I feel terrible.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I've been trying to keep up with you all but started back to FT work in September and have been completely exhausted.

Congratulations on making it to this milestone!

I hope that your little boy hangs in there for as long as you want him to. I'm surprised that she thinks that he will be born before 37 weeks. My OBs are on the other side of the fence and want me to go as long as possible. Although I have been seeing them once a week for three weeks now and have been having NSTs and u/s at each visit but I have GD.

Way to go!!!!! It's nice to know that we are in the home stretch!!!!

I'm so glad to hear that thigs are going well (aside from the pubic seperation...ouch). Sounds like your midwife is pretty confident you will deliver here soon! How exciting! I hope that all goes well. I was thinking about you the other day b/c I kept thinking your due date was in October...guess not...haha! Please update when you can and hang in there...your little boy is almost in your arms!

How wonderful! Where are you planning on delivering? My local hospital won't let me VBAC.
