My newly 1 year olds aren't sleeping! I think it is teething but I am not sure. The last 3 nights I can get about half an hour sleep before someone is crying. Motrin doesn't help all that much but DH swears orajel worked. (I think she just got tired)
Last night I had both of them up, ready to party, but oh so sleepy. I don't know what to do, DH and I are going at each other from lack of sleep.
I don't really have any questions, just needed to vent I suppose.

Teething can definitely mess up sleep. If that is the culprit atleast when the tooth does come through, yall might get some rest.

Sorry I have no advice but I hope things change for you all soon.

My girls are about 7 weeks younger than yours... but Hylands Teething Tablets work wonders for us. You can find them in some grocery stories, Target or health food stores. They help my girls sleep better when they're teething than Orajel or Motrin.

hylands teething tablets or humphreys works pretty good. you also may want to get their ears checked. my DS had a double ear infection now he is fineshowed no other signs other than not wanting to sleep. i also thought it was just teething and called the doc because i was at my wits end and he wasnt sleeping to well and up alot at night.

Thanks. These will be their 3rd theeth, they only have 2. I'm sure it is hard for them.

Last night is the 1st time I have cried with the kids. All 3 of us, in the dark, crying!

Hugs - teething is hard on everyone. Motrin worked for us - we're just lucky we didn't ruin their stomachs or worse we used it so often.

DH and I had to go back to splitting the night when our two were teething or sick. Both of us were so tired and very cranky with each other.

I hope you get some sleep soon.

Ahhhh, sleep! I slept from 9-3:30 without moving! Just had to wake up for some orajel and things went so much better than last night. I can't believe what a difference a night makes!

:hug99: I only went thru 1 night of this. The night after their birthday Ana decided she was going to be up screaming from midnight to 4am. She got like 4 teeth at once, poor kiddo! Dh and I were totally spent the next day. I called in from work, but its weird because I actually got more sleep that night than when we first brought them home from the hospital, but now that I'm used to sleep I can't just go without.

Hopefully your girlies are feeling better now and there will be many restful nights of sleep ahead of you.
