At the cooking stage, the preparation stage, putting into bowls stage and the after they've eaten stage! I will never loose weight!! Enough said!!!

:p I'm the same way. My sister was visiting this weekend and she laughed as I picked out the bits of mango from the mush of sandwich and whatever else was left on the tray after lunch. I always snack on their food. You have to sample it as you make it, right? And then DD always wants to share with me...

I'm the worst about eating their leftovers when they take 2 bites then want to run. Thankfully it's usually healthy stuff or I'd be huge!

It is so hard not to do! My DD is another who likes to share her milk and also likes to feed you too. How can I say no to such a sweet little girl!

Ugh, yeah, I have this problem too. I snack on the girls' dinners and then eat dinner an hour later with DH. Not good for the weight loss plan!

I had the same problem. I had to put my ring on a different finger when making meals to remind myself to STOP eating their food. I am nowhere near as bad as I was. GL!

sheesh... i guess i need to stop doing this too!! But, I don't plan to stop allowing them to feed me. I think it's sooo cute and it builds their confidence so why not a soggy cheerio here and there!

I've caught myself doing this recently and then wondered why my jeans are getting tight!!! AAAHHHH :gah: It is so easy just to have one or two of their snacks when they are having them!!! I'm with you, I have to stop the madness..ha ha!

For some reason I have a hard time eating after them (might be because they touch the food with snotty fingers, lol), so I just give it to the dog. Otherwise I sometimes will eat something but I make exactly the right amount for them so it keeps me from doing it too much (I'll eat something if there are 6 nuggets left in the box as they usually have 5 for example, but that's it).

I've been trying really hard to lose weight and didn't realize how much crust, Cheerios and crackers I was eating right along with the kids. WOW! So, now I either brush my teeth right before I make their meal, or sometimes I'll chew a piece of gum while I'm feeding them. Sometimes I'm really hungry but just didn't have time to make something for myself. So, I try to have carrot sticks ready to go so I won't snack on the stuff I really don't need. Sipping on a glass of iced water with lemon or a cup of tea while feeding them can also help on the mindless munching.
