Okay guys, for those of you who use Huggies Overnights with diaper doublers and STILL have soaked kids in the morning....I found a solution!

JCPenney has very nice, thick potty training pants -- they used to be called Wee Essentials, but now they're the Okie Dokie brand. Anyhow, I had some of Nadia's left over, so on a whim, I put one of these over Karina's overnight diaper, and then put her pajamas over that.

First off, they kept the diaper snug, which helped with leakage -- and then, anything that did leak was absorbed by the training pants, and her pajamas stayed dry. They do make them in boy colors, too.

    Hooray!

So the training pants are re-usable or you throw them away the next morning?
Thanks for the tip, mine have had a couple of leaky overnight diapers lately.

Oh that is a great idea. Tyler is wetting through the Huggies Overnites size 6 with doubler and I started putting a pull-up on overtop and that has solved the problem. But it is very expensive. I love the idea of a reusable pull up. Thanks.

Aimee, they're reusable -- just regular thick cotton training pants. We used 'em with Nadia when she was potty training.

Rachel, I actually got the idea from you, because I saw on another thread that you were topping the diaper with a pull-up -- so, I figured the training pants would work! What's funny is we had a whole bunch in 2T, but they're already too small for my huge kid (especially over a diaper), so I had to go out and buy the 3T...hope it works for you! Much cheaper than disposable pull-ups for sure.
