I hate winter!

Gah I haven't taken the babies out for three weeks because it's so cold... It's such a pain! I could bundle them up but then it's too hot and not safe in the car, so I don't want to bother (plus it's 20 today...). I can't wait for spring, tired of having to run errands on evenings and week ends...

How are you dealing? At least they're happy playing inside...

 

Well, let's see... I live in a little bitty house, my property taxes are the second or third highest in the country, BUT

it's going to be 90 here today :lol: !

 

The last time we took the babies anywhere was New Years Eve, the time before that Christmas Day, the time before that, I don't even remember...probably the doctor or something. Needless to say, we don't go out anymore. I think they're just used to being at home inside all the time now. I can't wait until Spring, things will be so much better for all of us again.

 

I don't get out alot with the boys unless it is a "have to" case! Unfortunately I have to today and am not looking forward to it! It was 5 this morning!!!! That's CRAZY!!!

 

Its tough to get out in the cold, but last winter I did try to get them out a little bit... a couple of times a week to save my sanity. :hug:

 

Its 20 here today and Im jumping for joy as its been -40, Thats right I said -40 for the last couple weeks here!
Sometimes you just have to bundle them up and go with it! If I didnt leave because it was cold we would be inside from Sept (first snow) until May (when it melts).
Just hang in there the best you can and have lots of playdates, that way you can take turns dragging the babies out in the weather

 

I know what you mean, it's been cold and we've been sick in the house, so I think the last time we took the babies out was last week and that was for a blood test. I look forward to nicer weather but I am also glad that the kiddos can find plenty to do inside so they are not feeling cabin fever too much.

 

Im there too. Its 2 now with a windchill of -14. Today it was 10 with a windchill of -1. The next few days it supp. to get colder. I refuse to take the kids anywhere. Its just too cold. The last time they went out was over 2 weeks ago. I would love to move to a warmer climate but DH job is here and no sliver of a chance of transfers.

 

I feel for you ... although I would do everything to move back to Chicago, not having to bundle up anymore it's the best part ever ... it has been "cold" here, 40s and 50s but the next couple of days we're going back to 60s/70s ... it's still hard to wrap your mind around. But we also have no heating in the house, so far we've done fine without.

 

its only in the 40s here, gets to about 60 at noon but i hate it too. went to PA for 2 weeks at xmas and it was friggin 2 degrees. no joke!! i didnt take them out much cuz it was a pain in the arse lol. wishing for warmer weather for everyone!!

 

I am going totally stir crazy in the house. It is cold and getting them all bundled up is such a pain. The boys hate the cold wind and no sense in making the miserable just so I can get out. Looking so forward to spring. After getting a tease of the park/playground when we were in FL for Thanksgiving makes me want spring here even faster.

I would have to get out. I cant stand to stay at home all day but the frigid temps might really deter me.
