Any tricks on keeping socks on my 4 month olds? I know it will just keep getting worse the more mobile they become, but they are always losing their socks!!!!! Any advice would be appreciated. Also, is there a particular brand or type of sock that is better for staying on for you BTDT moms? Thanks!!

People gave me two boxes of Maryjane Trumpette socks (not sure how pricey they are) and they are the only socks that stay on their feet, they are really cute too. I usually fold them down a little to make them more snug.

    Carters work best for us.

I gave up and just let them go barefoot. If it was really freezing cold, the socks sometimes stayed on if I put Robeez (or similar shoes) on over them.

Target (Circo brand) has some ribbed socks with really high cuffs that go almost up to the knee. I don't know if they come in really small infant sizes, though.

It doesn't get any better.. I have a laundry basket full of mismatched socks!! Ok, just the bottom of the basket, but where did the matches go?

I hate socks too! If I'm not retracing my steps in the grocery store to find a missing sock, I'm yelling at my washer & dryer for magically eating them! No advice here besides to throw some shoes on over em!

We had Carters and Old Navy socks. As long as the ankle part of the socks were made to hug, instead of fit loosely, they stayed on. GL!

my dd wont keep socks on for the life of her! Someone got us those trumpette socks (look like tennis shoes-super cute!) but she gets those right off in a few mins too. I am going to buy some robeeze for her to keep her feet warm.
Ds does better...old navy socks work great for him!

Ugh! Socks, I hate them too! Mine like to pull them off and eat them so I leave them barefoot at home providing they´re not cold. I have the same problem with shoes when out and about too!

I have these too, and I love them-they look like little Mary Jane shoes. I also have the ones that look like ballet slippers and tennis shoes. I got them from a site called Nappy Head, but that's a UK site. You can get them in the US from THIS SITE.

I also used Baby Gap socks which are Wonnnnderful. :D Good luck. I love baby toes!

We must have tried every brand on the market....We had literally 4 large ziplocks of socks from the first year that never stayed on.

We found the only thing that stayed on and the girls liked were the Zutano Booties made in fleece and cotton. Great for "jumpster" shoes and beginning crawling to keep top of feet protected as well.

I think they would still wear them if they made them big enough :)

No socks would stay on my girls' feet... then after telling my grandma this she went hunting for me... she found Carter's cuffed socks... they are the BEST! No other socks have ever worked... with them I just pull them up all the way to the knee.. they don't come off unless I take them off!! :D

I found a pic-- you can get them anywhere... I get mine at Khols
    Socks

    Hope they work for you!

The Old Navy footie socks with the elastic band around the top will stay on without a problem.

THESE are what I am talking about.

At that age we did no socks or we put Robeez on.

For awhile the Baby Gap socks with the elastic around the top and at the ankle stayed on really great. The problem now is that whatever I put on them, they just pull off. So the trick to keeping socks on at our house has become to turn up the heat and let them go without. If we're going out they have to wear shoes to keep them on which they hate.

either Carters or Oshgosh otherwise nothing stayed on. Due to our warm climate we havent' had socks on them too often. I put socks and shoes on them the other day and they were amazed and confused.....
