now that joey is crawling and jimmy is quite to follow i had to give in a get a super yard. i never had one for my other children but safety is a factor here  i was finding it really hard to get anything done with them on the loose. i found a spot in my basement where they can still exlpore but i cut off the danger zones ( i think)!!!! i am sure that they will find some way to get into trouble.

Yeah we let dd roam all over the house when she was little! We child proofed and put up locks on kitchen cabinets etc.

BUT WHOA, two crawling toddling boys? NOPE. We had a plastic playyard that worked for about 6 months maybe? They figured out how to push it and it came apart by 14 months. Now we have gates so they can roam their room, LR and hall way. I have a HUGE 9' gate across our open LR/DR. Not sure how long that will last. They love to shake it when they want my attn. And they have figured out how to open the storm door off the LR. I cannot lock then dd can't get it. Then if the windows are not locked, they can open then yell out the window then close them on their own fingers....I could go on and on....never had any of these issues with dd a girl and singleton.... B)
