I had my boys, and I survived

Hey All:

My twins were born on May 1 at 32 weeks and 6 days. They are health and thriving in the NICU. They're just growers and feeders. No respiratory problems. No heart problems. We're lucky.

It was a rough, rough pregnancy. I had a previa and a hematoma, so I was on bedrest for 67 days. We played it conservatively early in the game, and it really paid off. A placental abruption brought on the emergency C-section. Two weeks after that, I hemorrhaged, but came out OK.

With twins it can be a rough, worrying game...but you get through it.

So those of you on bedrest....take comfort that you're doing the right thing. I am the most impatient, hyper person I know...and I cannot believe I made it through. Now I have two wonderful babies to show for it.

So hang in there. I am moving over to the other forum now, but I will check in on you all.

I was just thinking of you. I'm so glad the babies are doing great. I want to see pics ASAP. How are you feeling?
How did you know you had an abruption?
I'm still waiting but I'll be on the other forum soon enough!!!
