I had my beautiful twin baby boys!

Hi ladies
As you may or may not remember, last week I felt like I might go into labor but had no real reason why, just intuition I suppose. So Saturday I packed a bag and lo and behold Sunday morning at 8 am, started having contractions every 6 minutes with lower back pain. Stayed home for a couple hours, tried to stop them by drinking water, laying down but nothing worked so my OB told me to go to L&D.
DH and I went, and they gave me 3 bags of IV, and the contractions didn't slow down.
When I got there i was 1 cent dilated... An hour later 1-2 inches 30% effaced, then another 1/2 hour 2 cm, and 50%
Since Baby A was still breech we knew we had to do a c-section so the OB felt no need for me to go on further in the labor (I hadn't been given any drugs yet)
The section wasn't half as bad as I thought it would be. No nausea, just a feeling of not being in control. Not being able to feel my legs was pretty weird. Baby A came out first. I didnt hear him at first and instantly got worried, and hubby ensured me he was indeed crying, then I heard it. A little cute cry. Then Baby B came out wailing and screaming. What a difference!!!!
They cleaned them and let me see them and kiss them, I was so overwhelmed and crying with joy and love. They spent the 4 postpartum days in the NICU as feeders and we all got discharged together, yesterday May 31st which happened to be mine and hubby's 4 year anniversary!! That's the best wedding anniversary gift we could've gotten!!!!!!

So here are their wonderful big boy stats:
At exactly 34 weeks, Sunday May 27th 2007 at 5:02 pm, and 5:04 pm, 2 beautiful boys joined our family:

Tristan Antonio - 5 lbs 7oz - 17 1/2 inches long - Looks just like Mommy!!
Aidan Emanuel - 4 lbs 15 oz - 17 inches long - Looks just like Daddy!!!!
Both had Apgar scores of 8,9

Congratulations on your boys! What great news that they only needed 4 days in NICU. Great stories like yours are really encouraging to other pregnant twin mommies!

I'm so excited for you! It makes me feel good that they didn't have to stay in NICU for very long. I will be 34 wks on Wed. and they are estimating that mine are about the same size as what yours were when they were born. So this gives me hope that if I go into labor soon we won't have to many problems.
