I had an u/s today

I went in for an u/s today at my peri. The baby looks great! The amniotic fluid levels are very good and the baby is very active. So far my cervix is still closed. I am so relieved every time they tell me that everything looks right on target.

Last week the baby measured in at 6lb 5 oz and today the estimated weight was 6lb 11 oz. This is great because supposedly at this stage the baby should be gaining 1/2 a pound per week. My other doctor told me that he thinks that the baby will be just under 8 pounds. So, it looks like that estimate is right so far.

Three more weeks to go!!!! :banana:

yay!! I think I'm going to be having an 8lb + baby too...possibly 9lbs by 40 weeks....yikes!!

 

Congrats on your Butterball's great weight! He is a Thanksgiving baby aferall!

LOL Jennie - No, I'm not ready. My DH literally is still upstairs trying to finish construction on our bedroom (it is after 11 pm here) to try to get it done before the baby arrives. I have no place to put any of his things so it is all in my dining room right now. And, I haven't packed a bag yet either. I have a pair of pj's and a nightgown and robe on the side. And I bought a travel toothbrush/ paste. But other than that I'm not even a little prepared. I guess it will all come together in the end.

I went through his 0-3 month clothes tonight and got them ready for washing. And, I put some stuff in a small suitcase for me so I feel a little bit more prepared.
