i guess we should introduce ourselves now:)

hi, everyone!

my little guys turned one a couple weeks ago, and their party and the holidays are finally past--so i thought i should take the time to introduce us! my gorgeous little miracle men are henry and joseph, born on dec 23rd, 2007. they were a big suprise! they showed up 12 weeks and 2 days early (pre-e that started suddenly and turned severe in a matter of days after a very healthy first two trimesters!). now i can see they were just in a rush to get out, as they hate to be confined!!

i'm currently a sahm, which is really new to me. i've been teaching at the same school (first and second grade) for 17 years! i totally love it, though. i don't have help in the form of a nanny or anything, but we are lucky to have a lot of family around. also, i am bf'g one and pumping for the other. not sure how long we will continue, but i love it.... one last thing about me is that i am a very sappy mom! it took us forever to get pg (i am over 40) and i wanted it for so long that i still am overcome some times when i look at their cute little faces! they've been in wonderful health since leaving the nicu and i am thankful for that every single day.

i am sure we'll have a lot of q's for all you btdt moms (and dads?), but for now, i just wanted to say hello. we'll have our one year check up next week and then hopefully i'll start having a little more time to myself to come online.
