I guess I will be joining you all!

Hi, my name is Sarah. I found out on Tuesday at my regular 20 week ulrasound that I am expecting twin boys. We are very excited about it and overwhelmed at the same time. I am sure I will be asking lots of questions! The twins will be joining older sisters Allison (7) and Eva (5).
My 40 week due date is May 30th, but we will be scheduling a c-section at week 38.
I look forward to getting to know everyone here!

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.
I had some clues, but kind of dismissed them all.
In the very beginning I said I felt like I was farther along than I was, but reminded myself of dates and knew excatly how far along I was.
My belly grew alot even though I hadn't gained very much
The morning sickness was much worse than with the girls and all day long.
The worst was that I was so fatigued I could hardly function for the first couple of months.
I had excessive thirst.
I felt kicks in two different places but thought maybe it was hands and feet.
We joked about it being twins, but never really thought it could be. There are none in my family. I went in to the ultrasound not even thinking about twins! We were all shocked including the ultrasound tech and doctor!

I can relate - I didn't find out I was having twins till I was about 21/22 weeks along. I had no clue. I was alittle bit bigger than the first time and was always extremely tired. From the beginning I felt that something was different but I thought that meant I was having a girl - my first was a boy. My husband and I almost fell off the table when the u/s tech showed us two different hearts.

Best of luck- my girls are no 20 months old.

 

Congratulations! I found out at 14 weeks, only because I went in for an "optional" earlier u/s due to my "advanced maternal age" (39) otherwise I wouldn't have found out until 20 weeks! Have you gotten over the shock yet? Enjoy your pregnancy!!!!

 

Congrats! I'm having boys too and we due a few weeks a part. I also have two older children 5 year old girl 6 year old boy. Should be fun!

Welcome Sarah!!! That's wild that you found out at 20 weeks! Are they identical or fraternal? I'm having identical
girls, I'm 21 weeks. I foind this site great! Everyone is so nice and helpful. Congrats on your twin boys, hope
